The pre-patched bin/cue ROM I found seemed to be an older patch version as the title screen and stage names were untranslated. There are pre-patched English iso’s out there (google rondo of blood english rom) and this is an easy solution. Symphony of the Night acts as a sequel to Rondo of Blood. Obtain the Rondo of Blood rom files in.bin /.cue or.iso /.cue format. It was later ported to the SNES as Castlevania Dracula X and released worldwide by 1996.

There is an alternate smaller font within the game that would fix this problem but neither Cubanraul or I know how to switch between the two fonts in the game's text engine. Castlevania Rondo of Blood, meanwhile, originally released on the PC Engine in Japan way back in 1993. Also the opening subtitles are all in SJIS characters which forces us to shorten the dialogue and take liberty's with the translation in order to fit it in the game's limited memory space. There are pre-patched English iso’s out there (google rondo of blood english rom) and this is an easy solution. To play PC Engine roms, an emulator is required. I can only think of Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys, Xak III: The Eternal Recurrence and Motteke Tamago, which can all be downloaded from here.

This version never got a Japanese release. Also know as Akumajo Dracula X: Chi no Rondo, Rondo of Blood is a famous entry in Konamis Castlevania series that was initially made exclusively for the PC Engine CD-ROM and first published in 1993. I know there isn't many English fan-translations of PC Engine games out there (at least completed). The Sega CD port was done without Kojimas involvement at all, and was made exclusively for the english speaking regions. The three things are the text for the ferryman, the billboard in stageX and the title screen. Before that, he was only involved in the Japanese PC division of Konami, and making games for the PC88, PC98, and MSX computers. I say essentially complete because there are still three small things left to be done and with my limited knowledge of ROM hacking I’m unable to hack them in. Well, after 8 years the Castlevania: Rondo of Blood translation patch for the PC-Engine is now, essentially, complete! Mind you a majority of those 8 years was leaving it abandoned until just recently.
